YourSchoolWeb: Intranet product
The YourSchoolWeb CMS was designed to provide all members of the school community with the information they needed to work effectively. An important requirement of the system was getting as many users involved in updating content as possible. To achieve this, it was important to keep things simple. Content wizards were designed to make creating content as easy as possible.
I was responsible for managing all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to build, testing and rollout.
To reduce the ongoing cost of support it was essential that updates could be easily rolled out to client sites with minimal effort. To this end, updates were packaged into RPMs that could be installed and uninstalled with ease.
My role
I was responsible for creating the entire YourSchoolWeb product, including liasing with end-users to guage requirements.
