YourSchoolWeb: Startup company
I founded a startup company that developed and marketed the web-based content management system “YourSchoolWeb”, designed specifically for schools. The product is currently used in a number of secondary schools around London.
The YourSchoolWeb product combined school-based Intranet tools, including email, assessment analysis, reporting, behaviour logging and management, with more traditional CMS features such as email, calendar and content sharing. A key focus was on making the product user-friendly to ensure it remained accessible to less computer-savvy members of staff.
My role
As company director, I was responsible for the overall management of the company including product development. A significant part of the role was client facing, including sales meetings, group training sessions and ongoing client management.
